Fingerpaints Without The Mess

Sometimes it’s just nice to not have to clean up messes and still have a fun activity to do. For this one, all I did was pour a fingerpaint color into a freezer size plastic bag. Squeezing all the air out, I then zipped it shut… and made sure it was well sealed! If you want to guarantee nothing coming out, you can tape the zippered end.

He was then able to manipulate the paint in the bag to draw whatever he wanted. With the paint in the bag, it’s not going to dry out either, so this can be used over and over again. I only put a small amount of paint in the bag so that it could more easily be spread and managed. Too much paint and you have the potential for someone sitting on it and it exploding like a ketchup packet.

Supplies: A single color of fingerpaint and a freezer size plastic baggie.

Preparation: Pour the paint into the baggie and seal it shut.
