The Orchestra ~ Field Trip

As part of his violin lessons, we’ve been going to see some orchestra concerts.

The first was Handel’s Messiah. I had never heard the full performance before. It was amazing especially with front row seats and a beyond full venue.

We also went to go see Pirates! performed by the Longmont Youth Symphony and the Longmont Symphony Orchestra. Some of the people play were just kids and not too much older than my little guy, probably 10 years old or so. They were amazing! My little guy was enjoying it so much he didn’t want to leave. He kept asking if we could stay longer!
